Lucky Star Kagami Hiiragi Konata Izumi OVA Extra Figure Amusement limited SEGA

This listing is for a Lucky Star figure set featuring Kagami Hiiragi and Konata Izumi, released as an Amusement-exclusive prize item by SEGA tied to the Lucky Star OVA. Lucky Star, based on the four-panel manga by Kagami Yoshimizu, became a defining slice-of-life anime of the late 2000s, and prize figures from SEGA's Japanese arcade distribution remain among the more sought-after merchandise lines for fans of the series. This particular release pairs two of the show's most iconic characters in a single collectible moment, making it a natural centerpiece for any Lucky Star shelf.

According to the title, the figure is a SEGA "Amusement limited" release, meaning it was originally distributed through Japanese arcade crane games and UFO catchers rather than through standard retail. The set is specifically tied to the Lucky Star OVA as an "Extra Figure," and features both Kagami Hiiragi and Konata Izumi — the tsundere class representative and the otaku protagonist whose friendship forms the emotional core of the series. Beyond what the title confirms, no additional specifications, scale notes, or production numbers are claimed here; collectors should rely on the included photos for condition and detail reference.

Lucky Star merchandise has aged into a quietly collectible niche. The anime aired in 2007 and the OVA followed in 2008, and SEGA produced a steady stream of prize figures throughout that period that were only ever available in Japan. Because arcade prize figures were handed out as game rewards rather than sold in boxed retail runs, surviving examples in good shape — especially pairs that have stayed together — tend to thin out year over year. Collectors outside Japan generally depend on the secondhand market to find these pieces, which is why pre-owned imports from Japan have become the standard route for completing a Lucky Star collection.

This is a pre-owned item that has been inspected before listing and will ship directly from Japan. Because it is a secondhand SEGA prize release, the original packaging — if included — may show shelf wear, creasing, tape marks, or storage marks consistent with its age. The figures themselves are sold in used condition; please review the listing photos carefully, as they represent the actual item you will receive. We do not claim mint or factory-sealed status on pre-owned stock.

Displayed together, Kagami and Konata make a lot of sense as a pair — their dynamic is one of the most recognizable in the series, and having both characters from the same OVA-tied release line keeps the sculpt styling and scale consistent on the shelf. The figures work well either as a standalone Lucky Star vignette or alongside other SEGA prize releases from the same era, and they slot comfortably next to Haruhi Suzumiya, K-On!, or other Kyoto Animation-adjacent collections from the same period. For fans who grew up with the show or who are building out a late-2000s anime figure display, this set captures a very specific slice of that moment in Japanese pop culture.

If you have questions about condition, packaging, or shipping from Japan before purchasing, please feel free to reach out — we're happy to provide additional detail where we can. Pre-owned Japanese collectibles like this one don't tend to resurface often, and once a particular SEGA Amusement release leaves circulation it generally stays gone, so this listing is best suited to collectors who already know the Lucky Star line and want to add the OVA Extra pairing to their shelf.
