How to Use the Catalog
Can't find the Japanese figure or toy you're after? With the HD Toys catalog you just pick a series and character, then send a sourcing request. Even for items we don't currently list, we check whether we can source it and prepare a product page for you.
🧭 Finding your way around
The catalog is organised in three simple levels — work down from the series to the exact item:
- Series (level 1) — Start on the main catalog and pick a series or franchise (for example Pokémon, Gundam or Vocaloid).
- Character (level 2) — Inside a series you'll see its characters. Choose the one you collect to open their page.
- Item (level 3) — On the character page you'll find the specific figures and goods. This is where you send a request for the exact item you want.
Not seeing your character or item? Every level has a Request option, so you can still tell us what you're hunting for and we'll look for it in Japan.
🛒 Sending a sourcing request
- Browse the catalog — pick a series, then open the character you want.
- Press the Request button — choose eBay or our Shopify store.
- Sign in / sign up — first time only. Your request is sent automatically once you're signed in.
- We prepare your item — we confirm sourcing and price, and build a product page.
- We email you — you get a link to the product page as soon as it's ready.

❓ Frequently asked questions
Q. What is a sourcing request?
A. It tells us "please get this for me" for a series or character you found in the catalog. Even for items we do not currently list, we check whether we can source it and get back to you with a price.
Q. Do I need an account?
A. Sending a sourcing request is members-only. Anyone can see the button, but pressing it takes you to sign in / sign up, and your request is sent automatically once you are signed in. An account guarantees your request is recorded so we can email you the moment the item is listed.
Q. Should I choose eBay or the Shopify store?
A. Either works. Choose eBay if you are used to buying internationally, or our Shopify store if you prefer to buy here directly. To prevent double-selling, we only list an item once sourcing is confirmed.
Q. Does it cost anything to request?
A. Sending a sourcing request is free. The item price and shipping are shown on the product page once it is listed.
Q. How long until I hear back?
A. We confirm whether the item can be sourced and email you as soon as the product page is ready.
