VOCALOID 1/7 scale Hatsune Miku Shaohua Ver Chinese Style Figure 2021 Myethos

The VOCALOID 1/7 Scale Hatsune Miku Shaohua Ver. figure by Myethos brings one of the most beloved virtual singers in the world into a strikingly original interpretation. Released in 2021, this scale figure reimagines Hatsune Miku through a Chinese-style aesthetic, blending her instantly recognizable turquoise twin-tails with traditional East Asian design elements. For VOCALOID collectors, the Shaohua Ver. stands out as one of the more culturally distinctive takes on the character, departing from her usual futuristic school-idol look and offering a refined, elegant alternative that pairs beautifully with other Miku figures in a display collection.

This listing is for the 1/7 scale version of the figure, manufactured by Myethos and originally released in 2021. Myethos is well known within the figure-collecting community for their work on licensed character figures, and the Shaohua Ver. was part of their effort to bring Chinese-style reinterpretations of popular anime and VOCALOID characters to a global audience. Because this piece dates back to 2021, it is no longer in standard production retail circulation, making the pre-owned market one of the primary ways to add it to a collection today.

Within the broader VOCALOID franchise, Hatsune Miku has been produced in an enormous variety of forms over the years, from nendoroids and prize figures to high-end scale pieces. Scale figures at 1/7 size occupy a particular sweet spot for serious collectors — large enough to showcase intricate sculpting, paintwork, and costume detail, but still practical enough to display alongside other figures. The Shaohua Ver. is particularly sought after by fans who appreciate the cross-cultural reinterpretations of Miku, and pre-owned examples sourced from Japan are highly valued because the Japanese secondary market is known for careful handling, climate-aware storage, and attentive collector culture that keeps figures in strong condition over the years.

This figure is pre-owned and has been inspected before listing. It is shipped directly from Japan. As a used collectible, the figure and its original packaging may show some signs of handling, shelf wear, minor scuffs, or storage marks consistent with its age. We do not advertise this item as sealed or mint; any notable condition issues visible during inspection are reflected in the listing photos. Buyers should refer to the images as part of the item description. Please factor in international shipping times when ordering, and note that customs or import duties may apply depending on your country.

On display, the Shaohua Ver. Hatsune Miku makes a strong centerpiece thanks to its Chinese-style costuming and the elegant pose work typical of Myethos releases in this line. It pairs well with other culturally themed Miku figures or with a broader VOCALOID shelf, and it also sits comfortably alongside Chinese-style character figures from other franchises for collectors who curate by aesthetic rather than series. Under directional lighting in a glass case, the detailing on the outfit and hair really comes to life, which is one of the reasons this particular version has remained a quiet favorite among VOCALOID collectors well after its initial release.

For anyone building a dedicated Hatsune Miku collection, filling in a gap from the 2021 Myethos lineup, or simply looking for a less commonly seen interpretation of the character, this pre-owned Shaohua Ver. figure is a worthwhile addition. Sourced and shipped from Japan by HD Toys Store Japan, it represents the kind of secondary-market find that becomes harder to locate as years pass and original stock dwindles.
