📘 Gumi Vocaloid Figures: A Buyer's Guide from Japan

About Megpoid GUMI

GUMI is the face of Megpoid, the Vocaloid 2 voice synthesizer released by Internet Co., Ltd. in 2009, with vocals based on Japanese singer and voice actress Megumi Nakajima. Alongside Hatsune Miku and the Kagamine twins, GUMI became one of the most beloved Vocaloid characters, fronting countless hit songs on Japanese video-sharing platforms. Her signature green hair, goggles, and stage outfit make her instantly recognizable to Vocaloid fans, and dedicated GUMI scale figures are considerably less common than Miku releases — which makes this Kotobukiya piece a distinctive addition to any Vocaloid display.

Kotobukiya Craftsmanship at 1/8 Scale

Kotobukiya is one of Japan's most respected figure manufacturers, known for clean sculpt work and vibrant paint applications across its scale figure lines. This 1/8 scale PVC rendition captures GUMI's energetic character design with detailed hair sculpting, layered costume elements, and her characteristic goggles. As a pre-owned Japanese release, it offers collectors access to an out-of-production figure that is increasingly hard to source outside Japan.
