ULTIMATE WOODY TOY STORY Action Figure Disney 385mm PVC 2024 Hobby Medicom Toy

The Ultimate Woody from Toy Story arrives as one of the most ambitious representations of Disney and Pixar's beloved cowboy sheriff ever produced. Released in 2024 by Medicom Toy under their hobby line, this large-format figure stands approximately 385mm tall, placing it firmly in the premium display piece category rather than the standard action figure shelf. For collectors of Pixar memorabilia, Woody remains the emotional anchor of the entire Toy Story franchise, and a rendition at this scale — from a Japanese manufacturer known for meticulous character interpretation — has been a highly sought-after piece since its announcement.

Constructed primarily in PVC, the figure carries Medicom Toy's signature approach to character sculpting, aiming to capture Woody's expressive face, lanky proportions, and classic western wardrobe. The "Ultimate" designation in the title reflects Medicom's tier for their most detailed and articulated releases, distinguishing it from smaller Kubrick or standard-scale offerings the company has produced over the years. As a 2024 release, this represents a current-generation interpretation of the character, benefiting from modern tooling and paint applications compared to earlier Toy Story merchandise from the late 1990s and 2000s.

Within the broader Toy Story collecting landscape, Japanese-market releases hold a particular appeal. Medicom Toy has been one of the most consistent producers of high-end Pixar collectibles for the Japanese hobby market, and their Toy Story pieces are often distributed in limited quantities compared to mass-market Disney merchandise found elsewhere. Pre-owned examples sourced directly from Japan tend to come from careful adult collectors, and figures of this scale are typically displayed rather than played with, which generally means the item itself has been well maintained even if the outer box shows handling. Woody, alongside Buzz Lightyear, remains the flagship character of the franchise, and larger-format representations of him are frequently the centerpiece of dedicated Pixar display shelves.

This is a pre-owned item that has been inspected before listing and is shipped directly from Japan. The original packaging may show shelf wear, minor dents, creasing, price stickers, or storage marks consistent with a used collectible. We do not claim mint or factory-sealed condition unless specifically noted. Buyers should expect an authentic secondary-market piece rather than new retail stock, and any significant condition issues visible during inspection are reflected in the listing photos.

On display, a 385mm Woody has real presence — this is roughly the height of a substantial statue rather than a pocket-sized figure, giving it the ability to anchor a shelf on its own or stand alongside similarly scaled Pixar and Disney pieces. Woody's iconic silhouette, from his cowboy hat down to his boots, translates well at this size, and collectors often pair him with other Medicom releases or larger Buzz Lightyear figures to recreate key moments from the films. Whether it becomes the highlight of a Toy Story shelf or a standalone tribute to one of animation's most enduring characters, this Ultimate Woody offers the kind of scale and detail that mass-market merchandise rarely delivers.

For international collectors, acquiring Medicom Toy releases through the Japanese secondary market is often the most reliable route, particularly for items that have already sold through their initial retail run. This listing provides that direct sourcing channel, with the figure prepared for careful international shipment from our Japan-based inventory.
