Pokemon Card Game Zekrom Reshiram 095/093 094/093 2-set EBB Hobby 2013 NINTENDO

This listing offers a two-card set featuring Zekrom and Reshiram from the Pokémon Trading Card Game, two of the most iconic Legendary Pokémon introduced in the Generation V era. These cards carry collector numbers 095/093 and 094/093 respectively — the "over-numbered" designation being a hallmark detail that signals these are Secret Rare cards printed beyond the standard set limit, a format that has long been a focal point for serious Pokémon TCG collectors. Sourced directly from Japan, this set represents a piece of the franchise's competitive and collectible history that continues to attract attention from both longtime fans and dedicated card collectors worldwide.

Both cards in this set are identified as part of the EBB (Emboar, Beartic, Blastoise — also known in Japan as the "Freeze Bolt / Cold Flare" expansion era) Hobby series, released in 2013 under Nintendo's official Pokémon product line. The 2013 release year places these cards in a well-documented period of the Japanese TCG's production history, before the transition away from Nintendo's direct publishing role in the card game. Zekrom and Reshiram, as the signature Legendary duo of Pokémon Black and White, were central figures in the competitive metagame of that era and remain visually striking cards that stand apart from standard set prints.

Within the broader Pokémon TCG collecting community, Japanese cards from this period are particularly sought after for a few consistent reasons. Japanese print runs often feature tighter quality control, distinct card stock, and artwork presentation that differs subtly but noticeably from international editions. Over-numbered Secret Rares like the 095/093 and 094/093 cards in this set carry a specific appeal because their numbering itself communicates rarity — they exist outside the standard set boundary, making them feel like hidden rewards for dedicated collectors. The Hobby format designation also indicates these cards were distributed through Japan's specialist hobby retail channels rather than mass-market outlets, adding another layer of provenance that collectors familiar with the Japanese market will recognize and appreciate.

This is a pre-owned item sourced and shipped from Japan by HD Toys Store Japan. As with all pre-owned collectibles of this age, the cards and any accompanying packaging have been handled and may show signs of wear consistent with being over a decade old. This listing does not make claims of mint or sealed condition. Buyers are encouraged to review all available photos carefully and to reach out with any condition questions before purchasing. What can be confirmed is that these are original Japanese-market cards consistent with the product described in the title.

Displayed together, Zekrom and Reshiram make a natural pairing — the black dragon of electricity and the white dragon of fire have always been presented as counterparts, and having both Secret Rare versions from the same 2013 Japanese release creates a visually cohesive set for display purposes. Whether sleeved and stored in a binder alongside other era-specific Japanese cards, or presented in a card display frame as a standalone piece, the two-card format feels complete in a way that a single card simply does not. For collectors building a focused archive of Generation V material, Japanese Hobby releases, or Secret Rare cards specifically, this set checks multiple boxes in a single acquisition.
