SoniComi (Super Sonico) by Taito: Why Collectors Want It
This feature looks at the SoniComi (Super Sonico) from Gloomy Bear by Taito — a figure we listed because collectors clearly want it, not because it was already on our shelves. Our demand scout watches search data and collector databases, and when a figure shows steady interest that nobody in our catalog was serving, we go and find a verified example in Japan. Below you will find why this one made the cut, the verified product details, and a full photo gallery of the actual item.
Why Collectors Are Asking for SoniComi (Super Sonico)
We only write these features for items with measured demand. Here is what the numbers showed when we checked:
- 1,830 collectors on MyFigureCollection list this figure in their own collection.
- 3,910 collectors keep it on their wishlist.
Numbers like these matter because figures in this segment are rarely restocked. Once a production run sells through in Japan, the only supply is the domestic second-hand market, and international collectors usually cannot buy from it directly. That gap between steady overseas interest and hard-to-reach Japanese supply is exactly what our independent-demand listings are built to close.
