Power Rangers Samurai Sentai Shinkenger Shinken Gold S.H.Figuarts Figure Bandai

Shinken Gold steps straight out of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, the 33rd entry in Toei's long-running Super Sentai series, which later served as the source footage for Saban's Power Rangers Samurai. This S.H.Figuarts release from Bandai captures Genta Umemori's heroic form, the sixth ranger who joins the Shinkenger team wielding the Sakanamaru katana. For collectors of tokusatsu toys, Shinken Gold has always been one of the more sought-after figures in the Shinkenger lineup, both because sixth rangers tend to see smaller production runs and because the character himself is a fan favorite thanks to his energetic personality and sushi-chef backstory.

This listing is for the S.H.Figuarts Shinken Gold figure produced by Bandai, part of the premium articulated action figure line that tokusatsu fans around the world rely on for show-accurate sculpts and poseability. The figure represents the Shinken Gold suit as it appeared in Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, and because this is the Japanese release, the branding, packaging, and presentation reflect the original Shinkenger name rather than the later Power Rangers Samurai adaptation. Beyond what is stated in the title — the character, the franchise, the manufacturer, and the toy line — no additional specifications are claimed here, so collectors can judge accessories and condition from the listing photos.

Within the broader Super Sentai collecting community, Shinkenger occupies a special place. It was one of the most commercially successful Sentai series of its era, and its samurai-themed designs translated extraordinarily well to figure form. The S.H.Figuarts line gave each of the Shinkengers a proper high-end release, and completing the full team — Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, and Gold — has become a long-term goal for many collectors. Because these figures were produced primarily for the Japanese market and have been out of regular production for years, picking them up pre-owned from Japan is often the most reliable way to add them to a shelf. Japanese pre-owned stock tends to be well cared for, as collectors in Japan commonly keep boxes, inserts, and accessories together even after display.

This is a pre-owned item that has been inspected before listing and will ship directly from Japan. As with any previously owned collectible, the figure and its original packaging may show signs of handling, shelf wear, storage marks, or minor imperfections consistent with age. We do not advertise this piece as mint or factory-sealed, and we encourage buyers to review the photos closely as part of the listing. Any noted accessories or packaging elements shown should be considered the full extent of what is included.

On display, Shinken Gold pairs beautifully with the rest of the Shinkenger team, whether arranged in a traditional samurai lineup or posed mid-action with the Sakanamaru drawn. The S.H.Figuarts joint system allows for the kind of dynamic kata and sword stances that suit the character's fighting style, and the gold accents on the suit catch light in a way that makes him stand out even in a crowded Super Sentai or Power Rangers collection. For fans who grew up with Shinkenger on Japanese television, or who discovered the suit through Power Rangers Samurai, this figure is a tangible link back to a well-loved chapter of tokusatsu history.

Whether you are filling a gap in your Shinkenger team, building out a broader S.H.Figuarts Super Sentai display, or simply hunting down Bandai tokusatsu pieces that are increasingly hard to find outside Japan, this pre-owned Shinken Gold is a solid addition. Sourced and shipped from Japan by HD Toys Store Japan, it carries the kind of provenance that serious collectors appreciate when adding established Bandai figures to their shelves.
