Power Rangers Gougou sentai Boukenjya DX Ultimate Daiboukenn Set Megazord Bandai

The Gougou Sentai Boukenger DX Ultimate DaiBouken Set is a classic Bandai mecha release tied to the 2006 Super Sentai series GoGo Sentai Boukenger, known internationally as the sister show to Power Rangers Operation Overdrive. The Boukenger team's combining vehicles form one of the most ambitious mecha lineups of its era, and this Ultimate DaiBouken configuration represents the show's maxed-out combination. For collectors of Super Sentai die-cast and transforming robots, this is one of the key centerpiece sets from the mid-2000s Sentai run, and finding complete examples sourced from Japan continues to grow more difficult each year.

Based on the title, this is a Bandai-produced DX (Deluxe) release from the Boukenger toy line, assembled as the Ultimate DaiBouken set — the full combined form that brings together the core DaiBouken mecha with its additional support vehicles and auxiliary parts. As with other DX Sentai mecha, the set is designed around multiple separate vehicles that can be displayed individually, combined into intermediate configurations, or united into the final Ultimate DaiBouken formation. Because this is the Japanese Bandai release rather than a later overseas reissue, it carries the original Boukenger branding and packaging styling used for the 2006 domestic market.

Within the broader Super Sentai collecting world, Boukenger mecha hold a special place because the series leaned heavily into an "adventurer / treasure hunter" aesthetic, giving each mecha a chunky, vehicle-forward design language that still looks distinct from earlier and later Sentai lines. Overseas fans often associate the molds with the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive Megazords, but Japanese DX versions are generally considered more desirable due to their original colorways, Bandai Japan tooling, and Japanese-language packaging and instructions. Pre-owned pieces coming directly out of Japan are prized for exactly this reason — they represent the version Japanese fans grew up with, often stored carefully in collector households rather than played with heavily.

This item is pre-owned and has been inspected before listing. It is shipped directly from Japan by HD Toys Store Japan. As with most vintage and pre-owned tokusatsu toys, the original box and any inserts may show shelf wear, creasing, discoloration, tape marks, or minor storage damage consistent with age. Accessories and small parts are included as pictured — buyers are encouraged to review the listing images closely, as those represent the actual item being sold rather than stock photography. No claims of mint, sealed, or unused condition are made unless clearly shown.

Displayed on a shelf, the Ultimate DaiBouken has real presence — it's one of those Sentai mecha that works equally well shown in its individual vehicle mode lineup or locked together in its final combined form. Collectors who build a Super Sentai mecha wall often use the DaiBouken set as an anchor piece because of its size and the way its support vehicles fan out around the central robot. For Power Rangers fans crossing over into Super Sentai collecting, it also provides a direct connection to the Operation Overdrive era while delivering the heavier, more detailed Japanese DX construction that Bandai is known for.

Whether you are completing a Boukenger shelf, filling in a gap in your Sentai DX mecha run, or picking up a Japanese counterpart to a Power Rangers piece already in your collection, this Ultimate DaiBouken set is a meaningful addition. Sourced and shipped from Japan, it offers the kind of authenticity and configuration completeness that is increasingly hard to find on the secondary market outside of the country of origin.
