Ninja Sentai Kakuranger Kakure Shogun Falconzord Super Minipla SMP Ver. Megazord

The Ninja Sentai Kakuranger Kakure Shogun Falconzord Super Minipla SMP Version brings one of the most iconic mecha from the 1994 Super Sentai series into a highly detailed, articulated kit form. Based on the Falconzord — known in Japan as part of the Kakure Shogun lineage from Ninja Sentai Kakuranger — this release is part of Bandai's Super Minipla (SMP) line, which has become a favorite among adult tokusatsu collectors who want display-quality mecha without stepping into the full price range of Soul of Chogokin or DX studio-scale releases. For fans of the Kakuranger era and the Western Mighty Morphin Power Rangers seasons that reused this footage, it's a satisfying addition to any Sentai shelf.

This listing is for the Super Minipla SMP version of the Falconzord / Kakure Shogun Megazord, originating from the Ninja Sentai Kakuranger franchise. The Super Minipla format is Bandai's premium take on the classic candy toy (shokugan) model kit line, offering snap-fit construction with improved articulation, color separation, and transformation or combination gimmicks faithful to the original mecha design. As a Megazord-class release tied to the Kakure Shogun, this item represents the heavy-hitter mecha from the series rather than the standard first-form robo, making it a centerpiece piece rather than a background filler for a Sentai collection.

Ninja Sentai Kakuranger holds a special place in Super Sentai history as the 18th entry in the franchise and the series whose mecha and suit footage were adapted into Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Season 3, including the Ninja Megazord and Falcon Zord sequences familiar to Western fans. Because of that dual legacy, Kakuranger merchandise sees strong demand from both Japanese Sentai collectors and international Power Rangers fans. Super Minipla releases in particular tend to have limited production runs tied to their original candy toy distribution windows in Japan, which is why pre-owned examples sourced directly from the Japanese market have become a reliable way for overseas collectors to secure them long after retail availability has ended.

This is a pre-owned item that has been inspected prior to listing and will ship from Japan. Original packaging, instructions, and any included accessories may show shelf wear, storage marks, or signs of previous handling consistent with age. We do not represent this item as sealed or factory mint; buyers should expect an item that has been previously owned and treat any packaging as display-grade rather than collector-grade unless otherwise noted. If specific condition details are important to your purchase decision, please reach out before ordering and we will do our best to provide additional information.

On display, the Kakure Shogun Falconzord in SMP form has real presence — the combined mecha design features the signature falcon motif and the imposing silhouette that made the Kakure Shogun one of the standout late-series robos of its era. It pairs naturally with other Kakuranger SMP releases and holds its own alongside Soul of Chogokin or DX-scale mecha from neighboring Sentai seasons. Whether you're building a dedicated Kakuranger shelf, filling in a gap in a broader Super Sentai mecha collection, or chasing the Japanese counterparts to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Ninja Megazord lineup, this is a meaningful piece to add.
