Nendoroid Kamui Gakupo Action Figure Vocaloid Gackpoid Good Smile Company 2012

Introducing the Nendoroid Kamui Gakupo action figure from Good Smile Company, released in 2012 and based on the Vocaloid known as Gackpoid. Gakupo is one of the signature male voices in the Vocaloid family, with a distinct samurai-inspired look that combines long purple hair, formal Japanese dress, and a cool, composed demeanor. His Nendoroid interpretation translates that aesthetic into the beloved super-deformed Nendoroid style, giving him an oversized head, expressive face, and a compact, display-friendly form that fits right in alongside other characters from the Vocaloid line and the broader Nendoroid catalog.

This listing is for the Nendoroid release of Kamui Gakupo produced by Good Smile Company in 2012. As a Nendoroid, the figure follows the series' familiar chibi proportions and swappable-part design philosophy, allowing collectors to pose and customize the display. Because the figure dates from 2012, it belongs to an earlier wave of Vocaloid Nendoroids that has become increasingly difficult to find at retail in the years since. All identifying information here is drawn directly from the product title — no additional specifications, measurements, or edition claims have been added beyond what is stated.

Within the Vocaloid universe, Gakupo (Gackpoid) holds a special place as the first major male Vocaloid voice bank released by Internet Co., Ltd., with his voice provided by Japanese singer and actor Gackt. He has long served as a counterpart to the female-dominated roster that includes Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, and the Kagamine twins, and his fanbase remains dedicated both in Japan and internationally. Pre-owned Japanese collectibles like this one are particularly prized because the Japanese domestic market is where many of these figures originally launched, often in limited production runs tied to specific release windows. Tracking down a 2012 Nendoroid in the second-hand Japanese market gives collectors access to pieces that have long since left store shelves worldwide.

This figure is pre-owned and has been inspected before listing. It ships directly from Japan. As with most second-hand collectibles, the original packaging may show some signs of handling, shelf wear, or storage marks consistent with its age. We do not represent this item as sealed or mint, and any notable condition issues observable from the listing photos should be considered part of the item's current state. Buyers who appreciate authentic, previously owned Japanese collectibles will understand that minor cosmetic imperfections are a natural part of the hobby and often part of the charm of hunting down older releases.

On display, Gakupo brings an eye-catching contrast of purple hair and traditional-inspired styling to a Nendoroid shelf, making him stand out among the more pastel-dominated Vocaloid lineup. He pairs naturally with other Vocaloid Nendoroids for a group display, or works as a solo centerpiece for fans who specifically follow Gackpoid and the music community that has grown around him over the years. For collectors building out a complete Vocaloid Nendoroid collection, filling in the earlier 2012-era releases is often one of the more challenging and rewarding parts of the hunt, and Gakupo is a key piece in that puzzle.

Whether you are a long-time Vocaloid fan, a Nendoroid completionist, or someone discovering Gackpoid for the first time through his figure appearances, this pre-owned release from Good Smile Company offers a chance to own an older entry in the line without waiting for an uncertain re-release. HD Toys Store Japan sources collectibles directly from the Japanese secondary market, so you can be confident this piece has traveled the shortest possible route from a Japanese collector's shelf to yours. If you have questions about the specific condition of this unit before purchasing, feel free to reach out, and we will do our best to provide additional detail based on the actual item in hand.
