Racing Miku 2016 Ver. 1/8 scale Figure Vocaloid Toy Hobby GOOD SMILE COMPANY

The Racing Miku 2016 Ver. 1/8 scale figure from GOOD SMILE COMPANY is a standout entry in the long-running Racing Miku line, a series that pairs the Vocaloid icon Hatsune Miku with the Japanese motorsport scene. Each year, GOOD SMILE Racing fields a car in the Super GT series, and the team's mascot — Racing Miku — receives a fresh new design that reflects that season's livery, theme, and sponsors. The 2016 version captures that specific year's look in collectible form, making it a meaningful piece for Vocaloid fans, motorsport enthusiasts, and figure collectors who follow the annual Racing Miku tradition.

This listing is for the 2016 Ver. of Racing Miku, produced in 1/8 scale by GOOD SMILE COMPANY. The 1/8 scale sits larger than the more common 1/7 and 1/8 figures seen in other Miku lines, giving the sculpt and paintwork extra presence on a display shelf. As with other releases in this series, the figure is tied directly to that year's Super GT campaign, so the design language — pose, costume, and color palette — is unique to 2016 and cannot be found on any other Racing Miku release. Collectors who try to assemble the full Racing Miku run know how quickly individual years can become difficult to track down once they leave retail circulation.

Within the broader Hatsune Miku universe, Racing Miku occupies a special niche. While standard Miku figures focus on her idol and virtual-singer identity, the Racing Miku line crosses over into Japan's car culture, with each year's design often created in collaboration with well-known illustrators. That gives the series a distinct visual history, and the 2016 figure is one chapter in that story. Pre-owned Racing Miku figures from Japan are especially sought after because the domestic market is where these releases first appear, and copies that have been kept in Japanese collections tend to come from attentive owners who understand how to store scale figures properly.

This is a pre-owned item that has been inspected before listing and ships directly from Japan. The figure itself is in used collector condition, and the original packaging may show signs of shelf wear, light scuffs, storage marks, or minor handling from its previous life on display or in storage. It is not being sold as a sealed or mint-condition piece. Buyers should expect an authentic second-hand collectible rather than a factory-fresh item, and any notable condition details visible in the listing photos should be considered part of the item's description.

On display, the Racing Miku 2016 Ver. makes a strong centerpiece thanks to its 1/8 scale footprint, which lets the sculpt's details read clearly from across a room. It pairs naturally with other Racing Miku years for collectors building a timeline of the series, and it also fits comfortably alongside standard Hatsune Miku figures, Vocaloid merchandise, or motorsport-themed collectibles like 1/18 die-cast cars and GOOD SMILE Racing memorabilia. For fans who have followed the Super GT seasons, owning the year's official mascot figure is a way to keep a physical reminder of that racing campaign on the shelf.

Whether you are filling a gap in your Racing Miku collection, searching for a GOOD SMILE COMPANY piece you missed the first time around, or looking for a distinctive Vocaloid figure sourced directly from Japan, this 2016 1/8 scale release is a solid pickup. As with all pre-owned Japanese collectibles, availability is limited to the single copy on hand, so once it ships out it will not be restocked in the same condition.
