Movie Masterpiece Alita Battle Angel 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure 2020 Hot Toys

Step into the gritty, cybernetic world of Iron City with the Movie Masterpiece Alita: Battle Angel 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure from Hot Toys, released in 2020. Based on the Robert Rodriguez and James Cameron sci-fi film adaptation of Yukito Kishiro's beloved manga Gunnm, this figure captures the fierce, soulful cyborg warrior at the heart of the story. For collectors who appreciate high-end character figures that bridge the worlds of Japanese manga origin and Hollywood blockbuster execution, Alita represents one of Hot Toys' more distinctive licenses — a rare entry that unites East and West through a single iconic heroine.

This listing is for the Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece (MMS) series release of Alita in 1/6 scale, dating to 2020. The Movie Masterpiece line is Hot Toys' flagship format for live-action film characters, known for its screen-accurate sculpting, articulated figure bodies, and detailed costume tailoring. As a 2020 release, this figure comes from the window when the film's visual legacy was still fresh in collector circles, and it reflects the studio's work on recreating Alita's expressive CG-enhanced features in physical form. Beyond what is confirmed on the box — the title, scale, year, and manufacturer — no additional claims about accessory count or production numbers are being made here; buyers can inspect the listing photos for a clear sense of what is included.

Within the broader Hot Toys catalog, Alita occupies a special place. Unlike the studio's deep Marvel, DC, and Star Wars rosters, standalone sci-fi heroines are far less common, and the character's roots in Kishiro's manga give this piece an added layer of appeal for fans of Japanese source material. Collectors in Japan have historically embraced the Gunnm franchise with great loyalty, and Hot Toys releases tied to properties with Japanese DNA tend to see strong local demand. That makes pre-owned Hot Toys figures sourced directly from Japan particularly desirable: Japanese collectors are known for careful handling, climate-aware storage, and keeping original boxes, inserts, and plastic trays intact to a degree that is often harder to find on the secondary market elsewhere.

This is a pre-owned item that has been inspected before listing and ships directly from Japan. The figure itself has been checked for its general condition, and the original packaging is included. As with any previously owned collectible, the outer box, sleeve, or inner tray may show some shelf wear, minor scuffs, creasing, storage marks, or light yellowing consistent with age and handling. We do not represent this piece as factory-sealed or mint; please review all photos carefully, as they form part of the item's condition description. Any notable issues visible in the images are considered disclosed.

On display, Alita is a figure that rewards close viewing. The 1/6 scale format places her at a size that works well in a dedicated detolf or acrylic case, and she pairs naturally alongside other Movie Masterpiece releases or next to Japanese manga and anime figures from the Gunnm and broader cyberpunk shelves. Her large, expressive eyes — a direct translation of Kishiro's manga design into live-action — make her instantly recognizable even in a crowded collection, and the character's blend of fragility and combat intensity gives any shelf arrangement a strong focal point. Whether posed in a quiet, contemplative stance or in a more dynamic Panzer Kunst martial-arts pose, she anchors a display with real presence.

For long-time Hot Toys collectors, fans of the Battle Angel Alita film, or readers who have followed Gunnm since its original serialization, this 2020 Movie Masterpiece release is a meaningful addition — and sourcing it pre-owned from Japan carries the additional appeal of acquiring a piece that has been cared for in the country closest to the character's manga origins.
