Vocaloid Hatsune Miku Deep Sea Girl Figure 1/8 Scale Good Smile Company 2014

Hatsune Miku has become one of the most recognizable virtual icons to come out of Japan, and the Deep Sea Girl figure from Good Smile Company is one of the more atmospheric interpretations of the character in the scale figure world. Based on the popular Vocaloid song "Deep Sea Girl" (Shinkai Shoujo) by yuuyu-P, this figure captures a moodier, more melancholic side of Miku rather than her usual bright stage persona. For collectors who appreciate song-inspired figures and the artistic range of the Hatsune Miku catalog, this release remains a sought-after piece from the mid-2010s era of Vocaloid merchandise.

This listing is for the 1/8 scale Hatsune Miku Deep Sea Girl figure manufactured by Good Smile Company, originally released in 2014. Good Smile Company is one of the most established figure makers in Japan and has produced a long line of Miku scale figures over the years, with the Deep Sea Girl release standing out due to its song-based concept art direction. As a 1/8 scale piece, it fits comfortably alongside other standard-scale Vocaloid and anime figures in a display collection. All other specifications should be confirmed from the photos provided, as we only list what is directly identifiable on the product itself.

Within the broader Hatsune Miku collecting hobby, song-themed figures like Deep Sea Girl hold a special place. Rather than simply recreating Miku's default look, these releases translate the mood and imagery of a specific Vocaloid track into sculpted form, which gives each figure its own distinct identity on a shelf. Because many of these figures were produced in limited production runs for the Japanese domestic market, finding them in good condition years after release — especially sourced directly from Japan — is one of the main reasons overseas collectors seek out pre-owned listings like this one. Japanese secondhand items are generally handled carefully by their original owners, and the quality of preservation tends to be noticeably higher than items that have passed through multiple international markets.

This is a pre-owned item that has been inspected before listing and is shipped directly from Japan. The figure and its original packaging may show signs of prior ownership, such as shelf wear, minor scuffs, light storage marks on the box, or slight separation of accessories from their original positioning. We do not claim the item is sealed, mint, or unopened unless the photos clearly show that to be the case. Buyers should review the listing images carefully, as those represent the actual condition of the item you will receive. Any notable flaws visible in person will be reflected in the photos to the best of our ability.

Displayed on a shelf, the Deep Sea Girl Miku has a different presence than most other Vocaloid figures — it works especially well in a lower-lit display cabinet or alongside other atmospheric, song-themed releases. Collectors who build their shelves around the evolution of Hatsune Miku's figure history often cite this release as one of the pieces that showed how far the character design could be pushed beyond her default outfit and twin-tail silhouette. Whether you are completing a Good Smile Company Miku collection, filling in a 2014-era gap in your lineup, or simply drawn to the Deep Sea Girl song itself, this is the kind of figure that rewards being displayed thoughtfully rather than just lined up on a shelf.

For international Vocaloid fans, sourcing a 2014 Good Smile Company release in the current market usually means going through the Japanese secondhand channel, since original retail stock has long since sold out. We handle packing carefully for overseas shipping, with the figure box protected inside an outer shipping carton to minimize transit stress. If you have specific questions about the condition of this particular unit — the box, the blister tray, the figure itself, or included accessories — please feel free to reach out before purchase, and we will do our best to answer based on what we can confirm in hand.
