Produced as a limited run of only 500 units, this crossover set appeals to fans of Japanese pop culture, Mini 4WD enthusiasts, and collectors of brand collaboration merchandise. The Super Emperor is one of the most recognizable chassis in Mini 4WD history, and seeing it reimagined through a Nissin tie-in makes this a particularly sought-after piece.

Based on the title, this is a 1/32 scale Mini 4WD model featuring the Super Emperor body produced through an official collaboration between Nissin and TAMIYA. The release was strictly limited to 500 pieces, placing it firmly in short-run promotional territory rather than general retail distribution. As a collaboration product, it was intended for a narrow audience of fans who follow both brands, which is part of what makes surviving examples difficult to track down today.

The Super Emperor holds a special place in Mini 4WD history. First made famous during the original Mini 4WD boom of the late 1980s through the Dash! Yonkuro manga and anime, it has remained a nostalgic favorite for an entire generation of Japanese hobbyists. TAMIYA has periodically revisited the design through anniversary releases, racing kits, and collaboration projects, each of which tends to sell out quickly in Japan. Pre-owned examples sourced directly from the Japanese market are particularly valued by overseas collectors, since limited promotional runs like this one were rarely exported and are seldom seen outside Japan. Nissin collaboration goods, meanwhile, have their own dedicated collector following thanks to the brand's long history of partnering with anime, games, and hobby franchises.

This item is pre-owned and has been inspected before listing. It is shipped directly from Japan. As with any used collectible, the outer packaging may show signs of shelf wear, minor scuffs, storage marks, or age-related imperfections consistent with its history. We do not claim the item to be sealed or in mint condition unless specifically noted. Buyers should expect an authentic pre-owned Japanese collectible rather than a factory-fresh product, and any notable condition issues visible in the listing photos should be considered part of the item's as-is state.

On display, this collaboration set works beautifully alongside other Mini 4WD kits, TAMIYA model collections, or a wider shelf of Japanese brand-crossover memorabilia. The visual appeal of a classic Super Emperor paired with Nissin branding gives it strong presence as a conversation piece, whether kept in its packaging or built and showcased on a stand. For long-time Mini 4WD fans, it represents a nostalgic bridge between childhood racing memories and the broader pop culture of Japan. For collectors of promotional and limited-run goods, the 500-piece production ceiling makes it a genuinely scarce item that is unlikely to resurface easily once sold.

Whether you are expanding a dedicated Mini 4WD collection, hunting down rare TAMIYA collaborations, or building a shelf of unusual Japanese brand tie-in merchandise, this Nissin × TAMIYA Super Emperor set offers the kind of crossover appeal that defines the most interesting corners of the hobby. Sourced in Japan and shipped internationally, it is an opportunity to add a limited collaboration piece to your collection that would otherwise be difficult to find outside the domestic Japanese secondhand market.

This pre-owned item has been carefully inspected and is shipped directly from Japan with tracking.

Shipped from Japan with tracking number

Carefully inspected for authenticity and condition

Pre-owned condition documented with detailed photos

Secure packaging for international shipping

Condition: Pre-Owned

This item is also available on eBay.

Browse more Goods & Accessories from Japan:

View our Goods & Accessories collection →

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0724/9284/3077/files/s-l1600_8d42078f-03d6-48ac-9645-71ec3067c108.jpg?v=1791219940
https://hdtoysjapan.com/products/nissin-tamiya-super-emperor-mini-4wd-1-32-limited-to-500-collaboration-set
